Virtual MNWC Options

VIRTUAL WRITERS GROUP

If you are looking to spend more time with other writers during facilitated generative writing sessions, our Virtual Writers Group may fit your creative pursuits. Join the MNWC community from wherever you are. Give yourself a creative boost during June 20-24 and hatch some story fledglings to nurture during the rest of summer. Simply scroll down to the application and select Virtual Writers Group.

The Virtual Writers Group is $200 and will include access to:

  • two facilitated generative writing workshops with, Sara Dennison, a certified Amherst Writers and Artist facilitator and prompts to tide you over on the off days
  • Morning Craft Conversations (see Conference Schedule for dates)
  • Editor’s Talk/Q&A with Daniel Slager, CEO and Editor at Milkweed Editions.
  • MNWC Faculty Publishing Panel
  • Evening Reading Series readings by faculty
  • Morning Craft Conversation and Evening Reading with Visiting Writers, Heid E. Erdrich and Sun Yung Shin
  • and the opportunity to participate in Participant Readings and the Virtual Auditors’ Reading during the conference.

Virtual Writers will be able to participate in Q&As with faculty with written questions submitted via the Q&A function on the video conferencing platform.

The Virtual Writing Group Option does not include the opportunity for a manuscript consultation.

Register by June 10. The cost of the Virtual Writers Group track is $200. We are no longer accepting applications for the Virtual Writers Group.

VIRTUAL AUDITOR TRACK

Our Virtual Auditor Track could be the thing you need to create space in your life for the pursuit of writing or refocus your creative writing project. Set aside some time, give yourself a respite from your every day, create a retreat by joining the MNWC community from wherever you are during the third week of June 2023.

The Virtual Auditor Track is only $125 and will include access to:

  • Morning Craft Conversations (see Conference Schedule for dates)
  • Editor’s Talk/Q&A with Daniel Slager, CEO and Editor at Milkweed Editions.
  • MNWC Faculty Publishing Panel
  • Evening Reading Series readings by faculty
  • Morning Craft Conversation and Evening Reading with Visiting Writers, Heid E. Erdrich and Sun Yung Shin
  • and the opportunity to participate in the Virtual Auditors’ Reading during the conference

The Virtual Auditor Option does not include participation in a workshop, facilitated writing group or the opportunity for a manuscript consultation.

Register by June 20. The cost of auditing the conference online is $125. We are accepting applications for the Virtual Auditor Track through Friday June, 16th and registration by June 20.
